The selfie game was strong with an entire wall of the hotel
dedicated to student plaid. Any place paying homage to patterns and design is a friend of mine.

When walking into the Graduate Hotel in Fayetteville, AR, I stumbled over a few construction laborers then was greeted by the best smile and lively entrance. The former Chancellor Hotel is 99% renovated and updated to The Graduate Hotel.
The vibe was funky and laid back with a hint of southern charm. “We Are All Students” is the slogan. Every space is decorated with just that- flair, charm and history with roots in the pride of Fayetteville being the heart of the US. https://www.graduatehotels.com/fayetteville/
Entering the elevator, a lady who had just sauntered over from the neon lit, check in desk, was fisting a cocktail from the center bar. All smiles she exclaimed “My Girlfriend told me about this place! Only her stay was in MISSISSIPPI at the Graduate Hotel near Ole Miss campus”.

We passsed by 2 floors, still under renovation. Walking the plaid hallways to the room was quiet and patterned with nicely appointed lighting and artwork.

The room opened to more funky patterns, nods to history and of course the Razorback Hog. I loved their theme of local finds! Some of the furniture were local thrift finds or from local artisans. The Artwork which donned the walls were of now-famous locals.
The headboard a reflection of Old Main (the first permanent building on the University of Arkansas campus).
You see in the video, the carpet is camouflaged- mixed with a floral couch and abstract art curtain!

I checked out the mattresses which are currently Serta Perfect Sleeper. Soon, I’m betting those mattresses will be Croft Bedding mattresses (wink) www.croftbedding.com

We stayed overnight in this same hotel several years ago. My #herohubs and I wanted a night away. Saturday night we enjoyed a short walk to Dickson Street. Dinner at Theo’s in Fayetteville. (My personal fav) Woke up to enjoy strolling the historic square.
And Brunch at the the Dirty Apron.
We hauled our bikes to enjoy a self guided tour of local breweries and mountain bike trails at Lake Fayetteville. It was a perfect couples getaway!
